	Anuncios de Empleo/Ofertas de Empleo/América del Norte/México/ Payroll Specialist Responsible for all activities involved in the preparation of payroll for assigned employees including assisting customers with routine payroll discrepancies in a timely manner; process and audit feed files going into payroll systems from PeopleSoft to ensure the timely and accurate transmission and completion of the payroll process; verify applicable payroll reports and employee time sheets in order to ensure that employee paychecks coincide with the amount of hours worked; know and support approved payroll policies and procedures and keep up-to-date on applicable federal and state wage and hour and tax laws; respond, maintain, and disburse all types of wage attachments in a timely and accurate manner ensuring adherence to federal and state laws as well as internal procedures and policies; create, copy, and distribute payroll reports (e.g., management, wage attachments, punch detail, labor cost and analysis reports, 401K, tax credit, etc.) in a timely and accurate manner ensuring the adherence to departmental policies and procedures; assist in maintaining payroll files. Applicants for this job will be expected to meet the following minimum qualifications. Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in finance, accounting, business or a related field preferred. Experience: Minimum one year payroll experience required; Minimum one year garnishment experience preferred. Other: Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Access required. Payroll Specialist

Responsible for all activities involved in the preparation of payroll for assigned employees including assisting customers with routine payroll discrepancies in a timely manner; process and audit feed files going into payroll systems from PeopleSoft to ensure the timely and accurate transmission and completion of the payroll process; verify applicable payroll reports and employee time sheets in order to ensure that employee paychecks coincide with the amount of hours worked; know and support approved payroll policies and procedures and keep up-to-date on applicable federal and state wage and hour and tax laws; respond, maintain, and disburse all types of wage attachments in a timely and accurate manner ensuring adherence to federal and state laws as well as internal procedures and policies; create, copy, and distribute payroll reports (e.g., management, wage attachments, punch detail, labor cost and analysis reports, 401K, tax credit, etc.) in a timely and accurate manner ensuring the adherence to departmental policies and procedures; assist in maintaining payroll files.
Applicants for this job will be expected to meet the following minimum qualifications.
Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in finance, accounting, business or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum one year payroll experience required; Minimum one year garnishment experience preferred.
Other: Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Access required.

All positions require the ability to read, write and speak both Spanish and English fluently.
